Research On Academic-Team Culture In University

The academic-team is the basic organization of teaching and research in university and becomes important with the Big Science ages coming. We should reflect on the organization with the influence on the People-oriented thinking. The most important elements of the academic-team is researcher. Each academic-team is unique because of the culture. Therefore, team culture is crucial to academic-team.The main research method in this essay is qualitative research, include on fieldwork and case study. I take an academic-team of East China Normal University as my subject of investigation and research from three respects, that is material culture, institutional culture and spiritual culture.Beginning with the research on the material culture of academic-team, I analyze the containing culture of this team. Then analyze the long-formed behavior systems from Goal and Planning, Division and Cooperation, Relationships and communication, Incentive Policy. We get the four contradictions reflect on academic-team, that is Public and Private, Collection and Release, Distance and Near, Reward and Punishment. Finally, get the conclusion that the ethics of researchers in academic-team is the most important fact to team culture.It is crucial to form academic-team culture to grasp the Art of Balance, the role of trust and the strength of Moral. The academic team culture is the key of The dual mission of academic team is Scientific development and Personnel training.
