The policy that some top students can exempt from admission exam to get a master's degree is an important part of the postgraduate recruit system. Those students who are admitted to exempt from admission exam are outstanding students at school, but what problems they encountered in the new environment? What should they do if they want to maintain their advantage? Are there any different effects between the students who are admitted to exempt from admission exam and the students who are demanded to take part in the entrance exam because of the different recruiting methods? Whether the factors that they come from different schools or different majors have some effects on their adjustment? Dose the students who are admitted to exempt from admission exam have some differences in the adaptation process? These are questions worth reflecting. This qualitative research focus on the school adjustment of the students who are admitted to exempt from admission exam and in order to figure out the mentioned problems above.Based on the previous research, the school adjustment is studied from four aspects:daily life adjustment, role adjustment, study adjustment and interpersonal adjustment.
