Based on the practical teaching of College tennis optional course in Henan Province, the thesis shows a systematic research on applying The Cooperation Teaching Model to college PE teaching through Documentary Analysis, Questionnaire Method, Experimental Method and Method of Mathematical Statistics, according to the requirement of the development and reformation of college PE course in Henan province .Taking account of the fact that too many college students take the course, while the court and coaches are limited, and that teaching result is inefficient, the author uses the Theory of Hypothesis Testing in SPSS Social Science Statistics software to teach and make a research on the effect of The Cooperation Teaching Model in college tennis optional course. It has been proved that the reference class and the experimental class have a remarkable distinction in physical situation , in throwing backwards the solid ball and fan-shaped running before and after the testing and little difference in 50m running ; Likewise , they have remarkable distinction in backhand shot with both hands and serving skill and little difference in forehead hit .They also have notable difference in tennis elementary knowledge testing and referee rules testing ; Besides , they have obvious distinction in individual capacity improving , interpersonal interaction skills , cooperating abilities , innovating abilities , expressing abilities , instructing others , the interests in tennis and mental health level. The study shows that The Cooperation Teaching Model is better than the traditional teaching model in elementary knowledge , elementary skills teaching and individual abilities .Having analyzed the application and research of The Cooperation Teaching Model in college tennis optional course of Henan province, this thesis submits the strategies in the application and spreading the Cooperation Teaching Model in college tennis optional course on the basis of the developing and innovating situation of college tennis optional course in Henan province.1 , When applying The Cooperation Teaching Model to P.E. teaching, college P.E. teachers must pay more attention to the characteristic of this teaching model, and make sure that the students should be divided into different groups with similar physical situation , fixed members and the same assessment criterion.2 , College PE department in charge should lay emphasis not only on the teachers, facilities and court but also on the teaching reformation including the assessment and rewards of research results and encouraging teachers to devote to the spreading of the research results . In this way, the situation of paying more attention to PE research but lacking in practice can be changed .
