In recent years, Henan provinces tennis market gradually warming increase related infrastructure has been constantly, social demand for tennis talents are increasing. In order to adapt to this trend, the colleges and universities in Henan province have set up a tennis lessons, colleges and universities sports departments also opened tennis major course, compared with other projects of tennis courses exist relatively late start set up time is short disadvantage. College sports college tennis courses system and the structure is reasonable, not only determines the breadth and depth of the students to master the skills of tennis, also relates to the ability of students to adapt to the needs of society and meet the needs of the community, how will this new courses constantly optimization, which can cultivate more talents to meet the needs of society is an important topic. Therefore, the physical institutes and universities in Henan province tennis major course of development is very necessary to study optimization.The study used literature method, questionnaire method, the mathematical statistics, logic analysis an so on, collation and analysis from the tennis courses in the curriculum goals, contents, methods, different levels of teachers and evaluation and other factors, through continuous improvement and perfection of tennis profession course, optimization of the physical education departments of Henan province tennis courses. To provide some suggestions for the current open tennis major course school, provide a reference for the upcoming specialized school.The results of this study include:(1) Training and orientation of tennis professional courses for students and teachers is the main social instructors tennis ability has certain correlation. (2) The tennis specialized course curriculum goals is fuzzy, for students to achieve the levels and no detailed standards; curriculum for students of tennis technique training more, for the comprehensive ability of the students to pay attention to is not enough. (3) The university tennis specialized course hours different, the proportion of technical school courses and theory courses part of improper; universities start time is not unified, affect their learning effect. (4) The choice of teaching contents, the technical part is basically the same, and the teaching sequence have common characteristics, the theory is not part of the attention. (5) The tennis specialized course is mainly bases on the traditional teaching method; teaching method has been tired in the novel specialized teaching; used for multimedia teaching method has some recognition, but the scope of sue is obviously insufficient. (6) The tennis specialized course teachers to master, lecturer primarily, and male teachers more, deficiencies in the youth vigor to the teaching at the same time also to have teaching experience. (7) Continuing education tennis teacher shortage, make tennis courses teaching ideas, content and method of updating slow. (8)Evaluation examination is basically meet the current needs, but the comprehensive evaluation and examination is not enough, comprehensive and objectivity should be improved.Recommendations include:(1) This research will total curriculum target tennis specialized course for positioning:the tennis specialized course of study, understand and master the basic rules of tennis movement development, grasp the tennis related theoretical knowledge and skills, have certain tennis technical tactical ability, and develop their abilities, can be competent the basic teaching of tennis and tennis training competition organizing work. (2) The teaching contents, strengthening the training of key technology and ensure students a comprehensive technology, attach importance to the students theoretical knowledge training and ensure comprehensive training. (3) The tennis specialized course time more appropriate in the second grade the first semester, weekly class number appropriately increase, while the reasonable control technology courses and theory courses proportion. (4) Should be the actual situation according to the teaching content, teaching condition and students choose teaching methods and means appropriate, strengthen the application of the multimedia teaching. (5) Teachers should constantly improve their own comprehensive ability according to the current development of tennis professional courses, at the same time to update their teaching concept; improve tennis teacher training learning situation, strengthen the continuing education of tennis teachers. (6) The evaluation of students and evaluations should be more comprehensive,and strengthen the evaluation of the comprehensive ability of the students; to enhance the objectivity of student evaluation.(7)The effective monitoring and strengthen the curriculum objective, content, method, process and evaluation, so that each link of effective integration and operation.
