Therefore, each city face of such fierce competitive environment must play out its comparative advantage and competitive edge to attract and aggregation of resources and elements. To transform them into competitive products or services and used to achieve the city's competitiveness.The sports industry, as the third industry and the third level of industry, impact a wide range of related industries. In this report, using sports industry as an example, and Porter's Diamond theory model as the approach, starts with the associated inter-industry nature to analyze the sports industry and the city competitiveness' relevance. Focusing on economic growth effect, industrial structure effect and brand effect these three aspects to analyze, aimed at finding a competitive sports industry affecting urban development in the main factors and the main problems, and propose solutions of related problems.
