The teachers'job satisfaction is a kind of attitude and emotional experience to the various dimensions of their job, according to their own standard system of job evaluation. The lower or higher satisfaction to teachers'job directly influences the educatical emotion to pay and teaching effective to play, even stability of teachers crowd. On the basis of understanding of the status quo of the rural high junior school teachers, the research of job satisfacion of rural junior high school teachers have both important and longterm significance on enhancing the management level of rural schools, and keeping stability of rural junior high school teachers crowd, and inspiring the iniative of junior middle school teachers in work, ultimately promoting health and sustainability of the development of rural school. As for rural junior high school teachers, we can guide them to understand themselves betterly, to reflect themselves and improve themselves. Of course, calling people's attention to rural education and rural teachers, creating a full range of reliable social support system to rural teachers is also an important object of this study. This research focuses on the present condition of the rural junior high middle teachers in YueYang, HunNan province. The study takes the questionnaire-based investigation as a mainly method, supplemented by interview survey method and statistical analysis. We selected more than 500 teachers to investigate by random, who were from 18 rural junior high schools of 6 areas in YueYang (or the grade 7 to 9 of nine-year compulsory education system). Based on descriptive statistics, correlation analysis and analysis of variouce comparance of the effective data, the conclusion are as follows:(1) On the whole, the degree of job satificaion of the junior high school teachers is low; Among the 10 factors, teachers are only satisfied with self-efficacy, colleague relations and social identity, while the degree of satisfaciong in work income, students'cooperation were very low. (2) The job satisfaction degreee of female teachers is higher than male teachers, and there exist obvious difference in self-efficacy, social recognition, career identity. (3) There exist obvious difference in teachers'age in the work environment, colleagues'relations, students'cooperate. (4)There exist obvious difference in teachers'marital status with the work environment, work income, organizational management, colleagues relations. (5) There exist obvious difference in teachers'the division of responsibility with the work income, colleagues'relations, organizational management and other ones. (6) There exist obvious difference in teachers' professional identity with work income, work intensity, colleagues'relations, professional identity. (7) There exist obvious difference in teachers'profession post with the work environment, colleagues relations, social identity profess-ional identity. (8) There exists obvious difference in teachers'pay with other various aspect of job satisfaction except self-efficacy, and higher pay, higher satisfaction.According to the above-mentioned results, the study discussed such questions as rural junior high school teachers' overall situation of job satisfaction and the feature of teachers'gender, division of responsibilities, age and marital status, educational attainment and profession post their pay and so on, and analysis and discussion their common ground and differences. What's the more, around three aspects, creating healthy environment of understanding and support rural teachers in the whole society, and improving teachers'organization and management in rural schools, and seeking all-round development by themselves, several pieces of advice on improving the degree of job satisfaction of rural junior high school teachers were presented. |
