The Research On Evaluation Of Advanced Classes Based On Performance Management

Class is the most basic student organization in university teaching and management; is the basic unit of school training and education; is also the end result and the focal point in ideological and political education. With the deepening reform of higher education, especially since expanding enrollment and carrying out the Credit System, it has brought great impact and influence on the original class evaluation system. There are some disadvantages for the traditional evaluation of advanced classes such as lacking of scientific and focused, too simple in the methods and forms, the ignorance of application of evaluation. Under the circumstance, it is an important issue to explore the advanced class evaluation, to promote good atmosphere in class and to form a more comprehensive evaluation system and operation mode for advanced classes.In this paper, a comprehensive review of the research situation in class evaluation at home and abroad has been conducted in the measure of searching literature and combining empirical approach. At the beginning, there are definitions for some conceptions related to the paper such as performance, performance management, performance evaluation and performance management class. Secondly, the problems of traditional evaluation of the advanced class, the meaning and function of class performance management has been analyzed and discussed. Then, there is a conversion of four dimensions on the Balanced Scorecard (BSC). On the basis of this conversion, we build up the key performance indicators (KPI) system for advanced classes, determine the weight of each indicator by using the AHP method and explore an evaluation system based on class performance plan, implement, assessment, feedback.The innovation of this paper is that it has applied the performance management theory to the evaluation mechanism of the advanced classes and built evaluation index system of the advanced classes, so as to implement the evaluation mode of the advanced classes for the purpose of "Promoting Construction and Reform through evaluation, combining construction with evaluation, focusing on construction."...
