| Chinese calligraphy,as symbol of the Chinese nation, has a long history and reflects Chinese's philosophical thinking, aesthetic pursuit, humanistic spirit, keen intellect and ideology. It is not only a treasure of the nation's cultural heritages, but also recognized as a brilliant art in the world. Chinese calligraphy is artistic, practical and educational. There have always been such sayings as"calligraphy make people moralized","a person's script reflectshis character", which puts one's calligraphy style on a par with his character. Cultivating education is one that aims to help students to cultivate proper behavioral habit. Often starting from behavioral training, it integrates diverse educational approaches, generally improves students'knowledge, feelings, thinking and behavior, and ultimately helps students to develop proper behavioral norm. Cultivating education currently is a very important part of"quality education"in the period of elementary and secondary compulsory education. Calligraphy teaching is a very effective carrier of cultivating education. Conducting such kind of characteristic teaching with a clear aim will play a role in promoting students'proper behavioral habits. This paper probes the relationship between calligraphy teaching and proper behavioral habits, explores an operational and effective educational plan which is suitable for schools and aims to help students to internalize and form proper behavioral norm, improve their comprehensive qualities and abilities, promote the development of calligraphy teaching in secondary schools, enhance its popularization and influence, test the teaching effect, and spread it as a characteristic calligraphy teaching.
