Traditional Chinese culture is extensive and profound. The excellent education idea of Confucius is the essence of traditional Chinese culture, and also a very important part of it. The education wisdom after about 2000 years'accumulation makes the foundation of Chinese traditional education, the theory of education and teaching implied in it is worthwhile to inherit and carry forward. Pre-Qin Confucian educational thought can be summed up in three major theoretical systems, one is about the relationship between man and nature, Confucian advocated the world-value of "Combination of Heaven and Man" and "moderate" methodology; the other is about the relationships between people, the Confucian preferred to make a harmonious interpersonal relationship with the kind of idea called "benevolence"; The third is about the relationship between people and themselves. Confucian put forward a series of moral self-cultivation methods. Parts of the contents of these theories are closely associated with the personality; the Confucian ideal personality is a great inspiration to modern personality education. Therefore, this article is to discuss the effectiveness of Confucian ideas in the building of healthy personality for high school students.This article consists of three parts:Part I: It interprets the relevant issues involved in this article, including the analysis of the excellent Pre-Qin Confucian education thought, it explains the core idea of Pre-Qin Confucian education thought, including educational objects, the aims of education, teaching content and teaching methods. Meanwhile, it discusses the personality and healthy personality, and then makes a conclusion to the standard of healthy personality of high school students.Part II: In this part, it analyzes the personality problems of nowadays high school students, and tries to find the cause in different ways, including families, society, schools and high school students themselves.Part III: In this part, it puts more emphasis on the Analysis of effectiveness of Confucian ideas in the building of healthy personality for high school students mainly from three aspects. One is interpersonal relationships, including parent-child relationships, teacher-student relationship, peer relationships; the other is about learning life, including learning attitude, learning methods, learning psychology; the third is about self-regulation, including self-awareness, self-experience, self-control.
