Comparative Research On Defense Technology Of 2004 European Cup Top Eight Teams And 2008 European Cup Top Eight Teams

This paper uses the domestic conventional techniques based on statistical methods, and integration of many football experts and academics,then make the statistical standards. Based on documentation, investigation method, observation and other research methods, make the comparative studies on 04 and 08 European Cup top eight teams in the group stage and knock-out defensive technical features , understand the 04 and 08 European Cup top eight teams defensive changes in the characteristics of technical features, learn the characteristic of the defense technical of European teams , for revealing the European teams`s advantages of defensive technology and the law of future development .By studying the results showed that:1.Comparing with CFASL,there is no significance of difference in 04 European Cup top eight teams of tackle,heading use and slide tackle in the front,midfield and backfield in 08 European Cup top eight teams.
