Secondary vocational education is 3 or 4 years to junior high school graduates or those who have considerable cultural foundation to train, the junior professional and technical personnel, technical managers, technical workers as the goal, carried out in a certain social,practical, professional, local characteristics of middle-level vocational education. The author surved the status in quo in Songyuan and pointed out the main problems and shortcomings that exist in Songyuan are:student number reduces, recruit students difficulty raises; student quality declines, employment situation grims; serious shortage of investment, affects the improvement of quality.The feasible countermeasures put forward base on the main issues and realities of secondary vocational education of Songyuan, according to national economic development and rural economic development needs of middle-career professionals, the use of education, economics and sociological principles, using survey method, interviews and other research methods, analysis of constraints of Songyuan vocational education development reasons:To strengthen propaganda and the Government's policy-oriented work, and achieve coordinated development in senior vocational education; To increase government investment, improve their conditions; To adjustment of the layout of the structure, optimize the educational resources, streamline the administrative system; set up adapt to regional economic and social development needs of the layout of the structure under the overall planning of the local government; To further deepen the educational system reform, from reality of the development of the non-compulsory education, to present an open, independent preferential policies, deepen the educational system reform, to pluralism, the direction of diversification; To change the phenomenon of single mode, breaking the boundaries between the vocational education and the various types of education and training to build vocational education and general education, adult education, and business education, social education relative to infiltration, and higher education reform plan, with the employment phase combination of the "overpass" to provide students with a variety of choices, multiple choices and a variety of talent the road; To promote teaching reform of vocational education, to establish a stable "double-qualified" professional teaching force stuff; To develop entrepreneurial spirit and ability of students by strengthen vocational guidance to adapt to changes in the employment situation.
