College student association, formed by college students on the basis of shared interest, is the student organization carrying out independently activities. It is an important approach and an effective way of implementing quality education, an essential carrier of the campus culture and an important complement to the ideological and political education developed at the level of class and the grade. With the deepening of higher education reform and the constant demand for construction of campus culture, college association is playing an unprecedentedly important role in educating and cultivating students. Meanwhile, since the value orientation of college students tends to diversity, if we still manage the student association in the traditional mode, it will be difficult to bring into full play the students' organizations role of educating and cultivating. Therefore, management of college student associations is faced with troublesome problems and severe challenges. Namely, how to conduct a in-depth study on problems existing in student association management, clarify status quo of student association management, so as to explore and then establish a new mode of college student association management in the new era, guide and manage the student association in a more scientific and effective manner, and perform a more positive role in the nurturing students in a round way. All above have become important issues of ideological and political education under the new circumstances.The present thesis firstly makes a literature review on history and status quo of the student association both at home and abroad, focusing on the analysis of the features, classification and function, and follow the trend of the development of the student association. Based on the investigation to some colleges and universities, and questionnaire survey in the theme of Student Association Management in universities and colleges in Sichuan, the present thesis discusses the current management model system of student association in college, makes an objective analysis of the current management difficulties and problems, and clarifies the direction for the development of association management. This research explores the innovative management mode of student association that keeps pace with the times and features the youngsters as the masters and Chinese characteristics. This thesis also explores ways to establish a new management mode of student association in the new era, in accordance with the principles of scientific management, independent participation and collectivism. The establishment of association access system, association incentive system, the right-safeguarding system and association elimination system, and the optimization of the association appraisal system will guide the development of the student association, give impetus to the development of the student association, ensure the harmonious development of association, strengthen the management of association norms and enhance association activities quality. In accordance with the classified management, the department that is in charge of the management of student association should increase efforts to support and provide material guarantee, focus on cadre training and promote team building, establish platform of communication and promote the development of association, enhance professional guidance and strengthen party building work, advance the league building and construct college student association management guarantee system.This thesis aims to explore the innovation principles, methods and ways of the management mode, "self-management, self-education, and self-service", for the college student association in the new period, which bears the functions of educating, cultivating, and shaping people, in order to arouse the students'initiative and enthusiasm of self-management in the student association build the favorable innovation environment, enhance the students'innovation ability, innovate the association's cultural activities and facilitate the all-around healthy development of the association. |
