Research On Student Association Management In American

Higher education as an important park and basic way of educating students,after the popularization of higher education,the number of college students is more and more.With the constant expansion of higher education,the increasing kinds of student association,exercising in studnt association has become an effective way to enhance the comprehensive quality of college students.How to standardize and strengthen the management and service of college student associations and promote the healthy development of student associations have become an important topic.With the development of colleges and universities,the Student Association Management in the United States has formed a good model.At the same time,we should also realize the current problems about Student Association Management of students in China.Theirs self-advantages have not been developed fully,especially the self-innovation and development need to be further improved.Through studying the experiences of Student Association Management in Washington University,some suggestions are put for the development of Association Management and high-quality universities in China.Then the author describes the development and status quo of student Association Management in American,so as to have a clear understanding of the background of Student Association Management about University of Washington.At the same time,this paper analyzes the current situation of Student Association Management about University of Washington,and bases on its development background to introduce association management centre,including the development process,administrative management and types of HUB.In addition,the management of College Students Association is studied in the University of Washington,including the management model,ASUW management and GPSS management to summarize its operation characteristics.Through an in-depth analysis of the Students Association Management in the University of Washington to explore the successful factors and problems of association management.And the management experience is summarized from student,association,society and school.Finally it puts some reasonable suggestions on the development and improvement about Student Association Management in China,from adhering to the“people-oriented”,practicing the spirit of great love;Cultivate “backbone force”,playing an exemplary role;Establish“legal system”,regulating management system;Notice to“keep pace with the times”,achieving multi-party cooperation and so on.
