With increasing competition, work pressure as a state existed in almost any working organization and individuals more or less, has also been an unprecedented increase. As a special group in China's career, officials exercise of the authority to manage the state. Sometimes the rise and decline of the country depend on whether the officials operate normal, orderly and efficiently. Therefore, the study of officials' working pressure is of great significance. At the same time, self-efficacy as a variable is widely used in a variable field of management. It is related with work stress and job performance closely. To introduce self-efficacy of the officials to the relationship between work stress and work performance study, by analyzing the relationship between the three variables, and further verify the intermediary role of self-efficacy of the officials,which has important theoretical significance for working pressure of the officials.The paper gradually carries out the research of theoretical analysis and assumptions, development and revision of the scale and statistical analysis of data. It uses the way of literature analysis, questionnaires and statistical analysis around three core concepts that work stress, self-efficacy and work performance. This research selects nine units in Dalian, and collects a total of 252 valid questionnaires. On the basis of learning from the past, this article develops and revises scale of work stress, self-efficacy scale and performance scale on the officials. After re-screening and pre-testing, work stress scale generates the work itself, role conflict, organizational structure and system, individual career development, interpersonal and family factors in six dimensions; self-efficacy consists of three dimensions that cognitive efficacy, interpersonal efficacy and innovation efficacy; in performance questionnaire, it includes task performance and context performance.This paper analyzes the impact of the individual variables of the differences between the three by exploring the relationship of work stress, self-efficacy and work performance among the various dimensions.It further studies the correlation and the regression relationship mutually, and verifies the efficacy of intermediary variables of self-efficacy. The empirical results show that the officials work stress, self-efficacy and significantly is related with work performance; work pressure direct impacts on work performance with both positive and negative impacts; self-efficacy variables in the work stress and work performance plays a part of the intermediary role, and work pressure can have an effect on work performance by self-efficacy.On the base of empirical study results of this paper, it proposes corresponding countermeasures about the officials work stress, self-efficacy and content of the various dimensions of them. The lower the bad effects of work stress, while appropriate to strengthen the role of positive pressure. We should also make guidance to self-efficacy of officials to achieve the purpose of improving performance.
