With the rapid development of technology, interdisciplinary cooperation and communication are becoming more and more popular. Scientific research teams are formed as important components of traditional disciplinary system in universities, spontaneously or artificially, to promote technological innovation by leaps and bounds. As is in typical knowledge-intensive organizations, knowledge communication is one of the most important ways to knowledge innovation for scientific research teams. It is of great value to capture the description of knowledge communication status and analyze influences of different factors, for keeping abreast with members'research steps, promoting mutual communication and thorough understanding, enhancing collaboration, and thereby improving team composing mechanism and management skills. In essence, knowledge communication between research teams is the interactive process of communicating and cooperating between members when they are working together. In other word, it is the transition process of knowledge in human networks. That is why we plan to use social network analysis methods in our research.Generally, we follow four stages in the thesis. According to practical needs analysis of knowledge communication in teams of M Collage, D University, and previous related work on scientific research teams, knowledge sharing and social network analysis methodology have been reviewed, based on which, hypotheses on factors and effectiveness are proposed in the first part of this paper. Then further clarification of study purpose and objects are claimed, questionnaire and variables designed, data collection and identification are finished in the second part. On the basis of statistical analysis, research interest networks, awareness networks and advisory networks of teams in the collage are mapped, status of knowledge communication process is described, hypotheses are tested, varying influence power of factors are explained and finally ways to improve effective knowledge communication in the organization are suggested.
