Abstract/Summary:
With the advent of the era of knowledge economy,science and technology,as an important driving force,has become more and more profound in the development of human society.Throughout the history of scientific and technological development of countries in the world,the development of a country’s scientific and technological level largely depends on the advancement of scientific research capabilities of universities and other scientific research institutions.With the trend of modern science becoming more complex and intersecting,scientific information exchange has become a recognized favorable measure to improve the quality of scientific research in the context of the development of global science.my country has always attached great importance to the development of the country’s overall scientific research level,and started to make arrangements for the key construction of higher education in the new era since 2015.When measuring the scientific research level of countries,regions and scientific research institutions,the citation level of scientific papers is widely adopted in scientific research performance evaluation because of its objective and quantifiable characteristics.Therefore,it is necessary for colleges and universities to analyze the factors affecting the evaluation of high-level papers when improving their scientific research level,so as to effectively improve their own scientific research capabilities and the quality of paper output,and make a real contribution to my country’s goal of building a strong country in higher education.Based on the above starting points,this article selects scientific papers as the main body of research,uses the current international mainstream high-level paper database-Essential Science Indicators(ESI)as the data source,selects universities with a top ranking and world-class subjects and domestic first-class scientific research institutions as the research samples,and uses literature Quantitative theory,combined with social network analysis and statistical research methods,based on the quantitative analysis of co-authoring and citation behavior from the perspective of communication mode,explores the impact of different forms of information communication on the citation level of papers from high-level scientific research institutions in China.This research has reference significance for improving the quality of research.This article analyzes the number and time dimensions of the sample institutions’ESI high-level papers.It is found that the sample institutions currently have certain differences in the absolute number of high-level papers and the number of reference citations,but the co-authored papers are published by all institutions.It accounts for the vast majority,and its proportion continues to increase with the year.The calculation found that the gap between the number of high-level domestic cooperative papers of the sample institutions and the international cooperative papers is narrowing year by year,reflecting the current situation of my country’s continuous improvement in scientific research.Regression analysis of the co-authors and citation indicators of the sample institutions’ papers and citation indicators found that both communication modes can have a positive impact on the citation of papers.The higher the degree of internationalization of institutional cooperation,the wider the scope of cooperation and participation.The more units or personnel there are,the higher the citation level of the paper.Since the vast majority of ESI highly cited papers are produced by institutional cooperation,and cooperative communication is the basis of social networks,this article uses social network analysis methods to explore the institutions with high cooperation frequency and active cooperative behavior among the sample institutions,and build their cooperation.Network,it is found that the cooperation network of high-level scientific research institutions in my country is quite close,and there are frequent cooperation with foreign research institutions,and the entire cooperation network presents a highly connected form.From the perspective of information flow,some institutions that occupy key positions globally and locally do have stronger scientific research capabilities.Through further regression analysis of social network indicators and institutional citation level indicators,it is found that more cooperation with high-quality scientific research institutions can effectively improve their own citation level,and occupying the position of "intermediary" between institutions and scientific research clusters is beneficial to improvement.Its influence and scientific research quality.Finally,this article recommends:When considering ways to improve their academic level,scientific research institutions can use cooperation resources,adjust cooperation ideas in a timely manner,extensively absorb the scientific research results of others,and accurately locate key cooperation positions,etc.,from the perspective of optimizing the communication mode Formulate a development plan and take a path of academic development that suits its own characteristics.
