Only developing education, we can solve the problem of poverty. China put forward anti-poverty strategy of education of the national Eleventh Five-Year Plan. Mountain xiaoliang area is one of the typical Southwest poverty Districts, and education was done well, currently it is very poor. Finding restricting factors about anti-poverty through education can help anti-poverty strategy to the implementation of education and the development of education in Mountain Xiaoliang area. According to case studies of anthropology and mathematical statistical analysis, and find the relationship between investment and poverty in regional changes and changes in family, by investing education highly, and anti-poverty have not achieved the desired effect.The main restricting factors of anti-poverty through education is the lack of adequate educational capital, many poor families are relying on debt to go to school; Second reason for education itself, the lack of capacity of education, vocational education behind; Third, the lack of development opportunities for educated people, particularly, it's the lack of fair chances of employment; Fourth, the impact of national culture of poverty.
