The human have been shaking off poverty and achieving prosperity. China has been achieved remarkable achievements in anti-poverty issue, but the remaining poor population and relative poverty will be more complex and difficult. Particularly there are still in poverty in southwest ethnic minority's poor areas, because of its special geographical environment and historical factors.Education and income poverty, capacity poverty, poor opportunities, and cultural poverty are closely linked. Only developing education, we can solve the problem of poverty. China put forward anti-poverty strategy of education of the national Eleventh Five-Year Plan. Mountain xiaoliang area is one of the typical Southwest poverty Districts, and education was done well, currently it is very poor. Finding restricting factors about anti-poverty through education can help anti-poverty strategy to the implementation of education and the development of education in Mountain Xiaoliang area. According to case studies of anthropology and mathematical statistical analysis, and find the relationship between investment and poverty in regional changes and changes in family, by investing education highly, and anti-poverty have not achieved the desired effect.The main restricting factors of anti-poverty through education is the lack of adequate educational capital, many poor families are relying on debt to go to school; Second reason for education itself, the lack of capacity of education, vocational education behind; Third, the lack of development opportunities for educated people, particularly, it's the lack of fair chances of employment; Fourth, the impact of national culture of poverty. To solve the above constraints, education should play a better role in anti-poverty aspect, we must provide multi-family educational capital for the poor; to develop comprehensive high school education, not only to satisfy the needs of knowledge learning, but also to meet the needs of technical education; to provide many developing opportunities, especially equal employment opportunities; to excellent ethnic culture education.
