With the biology curriculum reform carried out in a comprehensive nationwide, curriculum standards require changes in student learning by promoting, guiding and facilitating students to develop a new approach to learning --- the "active participation, willing to explore, exchange and cooperation" as the main feature learning. The new curriculum reform puts forward new requirements for senior biology teaching. Such problems in the current biology teaching as the students'poor practical ability, a single learning method and a negative emotional experience and so on are not in harmony with the times. How to improve teaching and teaching quality so as to make it go with the times has become an important issue every teacher faces.Teaching model is the intermediate links between educational theories and educational practice. Building and restructuring a new educational model not only allows the development of educational theories but also guides the practice of teaching thus to make it more efficient and the results of teaching more prominent. In theory, building a"cooperative and explorative"teaching model is in theory an optimization and concretion of the biological teaching theory and a theoretical study in the changes of teaching approaches the new curriculum standards require. In practice, it plays a positive guiding role in the biology curriculum implementation and guides the biology classroom teaching practice.To improve the existing classroom teaching and change the way students learn, the writer tries to build a high school"cooperative and explorative"teaching model. Construction process is as follows: first of all, the writer refers to the status of teaching at home and abroad and understands the types and characteristics as a reference in establishing a new teaching model. Also the writer consults and understands the development of the inquiry-based teaching model to provide a theoretical foundation and a reference model in the establishment of this teaching model. Making theoretical reserves in the same time and by combining teaching practice, the writer raises a cooperative and explorative teaching model and makes a detailed exposition about its theoretical basis, teaching objectives, procedures and teaching strategies and so on to provide this teaching model a basic framework for operation and logical structure.The results in theory of this essay is that it sorts out the existing teaching models at home and abroad and builds a "cooperative and explorative" teaching model. It establishes a framework in its application in the biological disciplines with operational guidance.For preliminary examination of its science and effectiveness, the author performs a teaching experiment in two parallel classes in the sophomore with Zhejiang Branch Edition high school biology as the content. The "cooperative and explorative" teaching model is used in the experimental class while conventional teaching in the control class. The aim is to verify the effectiveness of the "cooperative and explorative" teaching model in classroom teaching by analyzing and comparing the two dimensions in the level of achievements and interest in learning respectively between the experimental classes and control classes. Research proves that the teaching is consistent with the cognitive law of the students and helps inspire the students'motivation and improve their problem solving skills. It helps students master class knowledge, train academic abilities, and develop the ability of taking the initiative to explore.This article is a combination of theory and practice. It provides a teaching model to high school biology teachers in training the students'learning ability in the classroom teaching, and a train of thought to resolve the students'interest in learning and learning differences.
