| Fashion could be found everywhere, infiltrating into various aspects in people's life. Anything associated with fashion will be categorized as having charm and fascination. With the development of society, fashion sports have become a topic of interest to people who are keen on fashion. As a distinguished way of keeping fit, fashion sports accord with people'belief, namely, pursuing a stylish and healthy mode of life. No matter how distinguished or outstanding it may seem, fashion is inseparable from society. This paper is intended to make a thorough analysis of fashion sports– a common social phenomenon from the perspective of sociology.This paper referring to relative documents concerning various fashion sports is designed to study the history of fashion sports to make induction on its features and categories, aimed at laying a solid foundation for the analysis of the causes of fashion sports. Social causes for fashion sports are studied mainly in the following two aspects, making analysis concerning the inner development of fashion sports and analyzing different social factors influencing fashion sports. By analyzing its causes, the positive and negative impact of fashion sports on society could be seen clearly. The paper ends with a proposal on how to provide sensible and reasonable guide, with the hope of reducing its negative impact as well as strengthening the positive ones. In this way fashion sports will develop more comprehensively. In addition more and more people will participate in them. With the combination of PE in school and fashion sports, fashion sports could be brought into campus. Teenagers will have correct attitude towards fashion sports, beginning to undertake them owing to fashion , pursuing them due to interests and gradually developing into a habit. The ultimate aim is that fashion sports could make contribution to society as well as virtuous operation and development of sports.
