In modern times, the permeation of internet brings more richness and conveniences to people's lives. With the popularity of the network in human's daily life, the conception of "Network Community" is familiar for us. The formation of educational virtual community comes from people's demands. And now it is becoming a popular way on which companions could learn and community online. There are several forms of educational virtual communities, but most of them are not developed. Always they are not well-organized and not having ripe theoretic and practice-models. Therefore more researches in this area are needed. Especially, "lurkers" should be noticed, which take a high proportion in the people of educational virtual community.In this research, lurkers in educational virtual communities are investigated and visited. Base on that, the reasons of lurking, requirements of them and ideals about the virtual communities are concluded. And then strategies are designed, which could help lurkers change their attitudes of lurking, and help them gain more from activities and learning in the online groups. The practice part of this thesis is carried on in the graduates of Hebei University, subject of educational technology. After 3 months'application of strategies, the passion of members is evidently advanced, which approves the validity of the strategies.
