| Due to the coming of the digital era,construction means of university archives is gradually being improved. More and more university users are getting used to search or browse information by website,used to accept characterized information pushed by archives,used to communicate information by web 2.0 technological means such as blog or network districts. University archives should thoroughly study users by man-made intellectual tools and set up considerate models to satisfy users.However,there remains to be a lot of difficulties in usage of digital information resources: out-dated serve means , limited knowledge of users , excessive dissemination of information etc. On the basis of theory of communication,knowledge management and information technology,in consideration of users'needs,this essay puts up an ideal model and specific strategies (about management of users,management of archive,and ways of serving users) by citing examples of universities of different kinds.Moreover,the essay analyzes several other problems such as privacy of users and how to solve the problems. Above all,archive staff members should initiatively provide service to users,which is beneficial for information communication of universities and the whole society.
