A Research On The Thanksgiving Education Of Children From 3 To 6 Years Old

The scientific proposition of building a socialist harmonious society was first advocated on the fourth plenary session of the party central committee in 2004. Creating a harmonious society needs individual harmony whose base is mental harmony. But the key factor to motivate mental harmony is to make everyone learn to gratitude others. One's whole life is full of thanksgiving, such as the love and care received during childhood, the gratitude for receiving education, the gratitude for receiving help and encouragement by a superior, and the gratitude for being loved by others. Thanksgiving is Chinese traditional virtue, the indispensable moral value of harmonious society, also the root of harmony for family and society. Moreover the thanksgiving education is a roll booster to push social civilization forward. It's not only an affective education and a moral education for realizing one's value, but also a humanity education, even a coexisting education for the society. The childhood is an important stage for a man to form his or her character, habit and morality. So it is special worthy and meaningful to implement the Thanksgiving Education for Children. Thanksgiving education is to teach children to learn to gratitude, and let them know that everybody is enjoying the happy life which they give others, and make children learn through learning to love other people from love their parents and teachers. Most of the thanksgiving education researches take college students and middle school students as their subjects, but there are few researches concerning the preschool child.This Paper attaches great focus on the status quo of Chinese children from 3 to 6 years old. By such means as questionnaires and interviews, the status quo, especially the existing problems of thanksgiving education in China can be found. After this, related reasons for the existing Problems are illustrated in an effort to put forward some suggestions for implementing the thanksgiving education. The whole thesis is made up of the following five parts:The first section:introduction. This section expounds briefly the research subjects and aims, present situation and research significance of this research, introducing the research stages, methods and innovation..The second section:recognizing preschool thanksgiving education. First, the paper is to illustrate what are thanksgiving and thanksgiving education, and then summarize the meaning of preschool thanksgiving education based on the particularity of childhood education and their physical and mental characteristics, indicating that the most important point of preschool thanksgiving education is to cultivate their emotion of gratitude and develop their ability of gratitude. Second, it will elaborate the theoretical principles of implementing preschool thanksgiving education, such as social learning theory, life moral theory, emotional moral education and game theory.The third section:coming in to preschool thanksgiving education. This part is mainly to describe the present situation of preschool thanksgiving education from the parents and teachers'understanding of, cognition about and attitude toward preschool thanksgiving education, and their exact means of thanksgiving education.The fourth section:speculating preschool thanksgiving education. This part is to excavate the existing problems of preschool thanksgiving education from the present situation, and analyze the reasons which cause the problems.The fifth section:exploring the path of preschool thanksgiving education. On account of the above problems and reasons the author is to try to find the strategies and advice of implementing preschool thanksgiving education from the following three aspects:establishing thanksgiving philosophy, the principles of processing and concrete strategy of thanksgiving education.
