Education should cover the whole process of human development to achieve life-long learning,we must respect each person's interest in learning and self-selection. School education is not to make students finish all the knowledge, but rather to enable students to have a strong interest in learning for life and lay the foundation for life-long learning. Meanwhile, the new curriculum reform not only requires the English language courses for junior school student to develop language knowledge and skills, but also have the responsibility and obligation to develop students interest in learning to achieve self-esteem, confidence and personality development. But in fact, reasons such as social misunderstanding of interest, examination tendency have actually led to the unsatisfactory situation of interest study. This article based on the writer's own teaching experience takes the junior school students'English interest cultivation as a research direction, and tries to carry out a more in-depth exploration.The basic idea of this study is, first to analyze background and significance, then have the literature review, next, start a survey on junior school student interest in learning English to find influential factors and difficulties. The last but the most important part is to form a set of effective specific strategies in interest cultivation to guide future teaching.Generally, this research is divided into three phases. The first phase is to analyze data, sum up characteristics in the past study, and define the concept of interest in learning English. The second stage is to seek some theoretical support. Constructivist theory, Hierarchy of Needs theory, Teen-agers Self-Awareness Development theory, and Affective Filter Hypothesis theory provide an effective theoretical basis for the following strategies. The third stage is the focus of this article, in order to ensure that the strategies to provide more effective, it starts with a survey discussed the key factors in detail for junior school student learning interest, also, in-depth analysis of the obstacles in English interest. Then it presents concrete training strategies in interest cultivation.This paper is based on education, psychology and second language learning theories. The use of studying literature, summarizing teaching experience, and questionnaire survey are much more comprehensive. This article outlines six specific training strategies in interest cultivation. On the one hand, it is beneficial for both teachers and students to seek the true meaning of learning and development, to explore the deeper meaning of life, on the other hand, it is easy to guide English teachers'teaching practice, to improve teaching effect, and promote student sustainable development.
