Research On Non-governmental Organization Anti-poverty In The USA

In any one country, different regions have different levels of economic development, and there are inequitable distribution of society, unemployment and many other factors existing, so even if in the capitalist countries of western where modernization has been achieved, and higher levels of development of productive forces developed, the problem of poverty is still quite prominent. Though The United States is the world's number one economic power, the poverty problem has plagued the society's economic development all the same. In accordance with the United States Census Bureau's latest statistics, there are still 36.5 million people living below the poverty line today in the United States. "Market failure" and "government failure" both exist everywhere, and Non-governmental organizations play an irreplaceable role on this problem of anti-poverty. So we should give full play to the role of non-governmental organizations to serve for the career of anti-poverty.This article studies from the theoretical foundation (economics theoretical foundation,Political theoretical foundation,Sociology theoretical foundation,Ethics theoretical foundation) of Non-governmental organizations anti-poverty; By analyzing on the reasons,roles,running modes of NGO in the United States, summaries the successful experience of American non-governmental organizations on anti-poverty. The anti-poverty running mode of NGO in the United States including governmental and non-governmental organizations cooperation, the cooperation between non-governmental and anti-poverty within the community. Finally, analyses the relationship between non-governmental organizations with government department and marketing department in anti-poverty, pointing out its shortcomings. With the successful experience of American non-governmental organizations on anti-poverty, makes recommendations to solve the limitations of China's non-governmental organizations on anti-poverty.
