This paper concludes the characteristics of expert learning, expert learners, constructs the framework of characteristics of expert learners and proposes a theoretical hypothesis of"expert learners and meaningful learning", based on analysizing the studies of the meaningful learning and expert learners both at home and abroad. Taking Jiangxi Normal University as an empirical case, it investigates the distance between the learning approaches performed by undergraduates and the meaningful learning. Combining with the empirical results and revelation, this paper explores a useful approach from perspective of recognizing the learning style of oneself, using IT to construct meaningful learning environment, as well as using IT as learning tools to facilitate the learner's meaningful learning for promoting undergraduates'to become expert learners.This paper consists of five chapters.Chapter-1 Introduction Based on the analysis of researches background of the Times and social, education demand, as well as the pursuit of individual development, this chapter proposes relevant researching problems, and describes the research significance, methodology and theoretical basis.Chapter-2 Literature Review. According to the researching problems, this chapter makes deep analysis of the study on the meaningful learning both at home and abroad, as well as expert learners.Chapter-3 Theoretical Hypothesis: Expert Learners and Meaningful Learning On the concluding the characteristics of expert learning, expert learners, this chapter confirms the definition of expert learner in this paper, constructs the framework of characteristics of expert learners, and then proposes a theoretical hypothesis of"expert learners and meaningful learning".Chapter-4 The Investigation of undergraduates'meaningful learning Taking the JiangXi Normal University as a case study , this chapter investigates the undergraduates'meaningful through questionnaire, and analyses the investigation results.Chapter-5 Research on Approaches to Become an Expert Learner Exploring the approach to become an expert learner, based on the theory of Learner-Centered Psychological Principles, combining with the empirical results and revelation from the perspective of hypothesis: recognizing the learning style of oneself, using IT to construct meaningful learning environment, as well as using IT as learning tools to facilitate the learner's meaningful learning from perspectives of theoretical, technology and methods support..
