Many of the teaching practice results indicate that the expert chemistry teachers’ classroom generally has the characteristics of high efficiency. Therefore, it has great significance for the study of chemistry classroom teaching efficiency to analyze and organize the expert chemistry teachers’classroom teaching behavior characteristics and content. This article will be case studies about the characteristics of the expert junior high school chemistry teacher’s classroom teaching behavior and content on chemistry class content and structure theory, in order to sort out the expert junior high school chemistry teacher during the teaching process of the metal chemical properties of a class behavior characteristics reflected in teaching.I selected a chemistry expert teacher from a focus on junior high school in Jilin Province for the study, to study for the teacher’s classroom teaching on the chemical properties of metal which is part of junior high school chemistry content. I will tease out the teaching behavior characteristics of the expert teacher to commence teaching on the chemical properties of the metal content reflects, through the analysis and interpretation of her lesson structure and teachers’behavior, in order to be able to play a guiding role in the teaching of the majority of novice teachers.In this paper, use of literature, classroom observation, textual analysis of the study, including four parts:Introduction, mainly on the background and significance of the problem; the detailed descriptions of current research on teaching behavioral characteristics; and theoretical basis of detailed descriptions of the chemistry classroom teaching behaviors and characteristics of the status quo, with detailed descriptions of the basic model of the structure of the chemical class-CPCP and CPUP model.Research Overview section, the main object of this study to select the specific ideas and steps, and the method used.The part of the analysis of the expert teacher’s classroom teaching behavior and content characteristics for metals’chemical properties of the junior high school chemistry, accurately divided into classroom content and structure on the basis of structural features from the content of classroom teaching, teaching behavioral characteristics of the two aspects of classroom teaching behavioral characteristics, to tease out the behavior and content characteristics reflect the teaching expert chemistry teacher during the teaching of the metal and chemical properties.Finally, conclusions and recommendations section, Some characteristics of the teacher’s class content structure and teaching behavior based on the study concluded:1.An arrangement of the content structure, the teacher time allocation appropriate levels of detail, and Plates, cells, and the primitive logical relationship accord to the cognitive characteristics of the junior high school students;2. In teaching behavior, the teacher mainly uses B, and C-type teaching behavior chain to complete the teaching, goods at raising a high level and timely summarizing. Based on this conclusion, the author proposes some teaching suggestions:1. Teachers should pay attention to examine the students’prior knowledge and cognitive characteristics;2. Teachers should summarizing timely.;3.Teachers should pay attention to the reasonable arrangement of the heavy and difficult teaching time;4. Teachers should should be reasonable to adopt a different teaching behavior for different content in the chemical nature of the metal.
