The textbooks play an important role in cultivating talents and accumulating and propagating scientific education. Thus the reform of the textbooks seems very important in the whole education reform. The outstanding feature of our country's eighth curriculum reform after founding a new nation is textbooks reform, which changes from one curriculum standard with one set of textbooks to one curriculum standard with various sets of textbooks. There are five serious ordinary high school physics experimental textbooks respectively published by the People's education press, Shanghai scientific and educational publishing house, Guangdong educational publishing house, Shandong scientific publishing house and the educational and scientific publishing house(hereafter refers to as Renjiao edition, Hukejiao edition, Yuejiao edition, Lukeji edition and Jiaoke edition). Schools in different negions can select the textbooks by themselves. One problems with the variery of textbooks is how to comparision and analysis the different textbooks.Textbooks Comparativing and analyzing can provides a stage for textbooks evaluating and selecting. Therefor it is very necessary to comparision and analysis the ordinary high school physics experimental textbooks which are based on the same curriculum standard and published separately by the five presses. Based on forgoing stand, some problems are discussed as following.The textbooks and the textbooks comparision are discussed firstly. That is the history and the developing of the textbooks, the existenting research on the textbooks comparativing and analyzing and the comparative and analysis of our country's typical physics textbooks are studied. It detailedly explains the developing of the textbooks and the physics textbooks from the ancient to the new nation founding. Secondly, the existenting research on the textbooks comparativing and analyzing at home and abroad, including the method, the index systems and the procedure are analyzed. Lastly, the tendency of our country's physics textbooks is summed up after analyzing several typical physics textbooks which are published in New China.The index systems of the ordinary high school physics experimental textbooks are established. Based on the informed research involving the method, the index systems, the procedure and combing with the content of this research, which involving the goal, the choice, the organization, the presentation and the result of using the textbooks, the new index systems are set up.Ordinary high school physics experimental textbooks are comparatived and analyzed. According to the above index systems, the goal and the organization of the textbooks' contents of the renjiao editon, hukejiao editon, yuejiao editon, lujiao editon and jiaoke editon are compared. The choice of the textbooks' contents including the set of the knowledge, the experiment and the inqury content, the STS, the select of the ecercises and the presentation of the textbooks' contents including the showing of the page and the column are analyzed.The conclusiions based on the above research are as follow: The textbooks is keeping pace with the times, connecting with the life, having a variety of columns, setting up the concept of STS and the inqury teaching , not only having words, but also a lot of wonderful pictures. Besides when it is start new courses, the textbooks always creat meaningful contex.
