Currently in China the employment situation of university students is severe. As a result, the phenomenon of indiscriminate employment of university graduates is widespread. And compared with the Ministry key universities, this phenomenon that exists in the local higher educational institution graduates is more worrying. To deal with this problem, implementing scientific reasonable and effective employment education during the whole university career is an important choice. This study explores the curriculum designing of employment education which suits the local universities and colleges, and divided into three main parts:The first part analyses the local colleges and universities employment education curriculums on realistic conditions. First, it analyses the local colleges and universities and graduate employment characteristics, giving emphasis to the number of local colleges and universities which has a share of more than 90% of the proportion of China's higher education. So it is the main body which has far-reaching impact on the employment situation. In addition, the amount of local colleges and universities graduates is so large that the competition is fierce and unbalanced, and they have non-local employment. Second, it summarizes the existing problems in the local colleges and universities education employment, mainly include 6 aspects such as no attention to education courses from local colleges and universities, vicarious and fragmentary lectures, unstructured, short - term, lack of pertinence curriculum and obsolete contents. Third, by analyzing the characteristics of the growth stage of college career, and gets this inspiration: employment education curriculum designing should be based on the characteristics of the different career stages of college students and the different tasks to provide different employment education curriculum contents. Fourth, it lists the personnel standards of corporations, government and public institutions and indicates the personnel quality and ability required by employment standards have not been effectively cultivated in the professional education.fiveth, for draw on the outcome of the building of employment education courses of colleges and universities at home and abroad. The second part of the study expresses the theoretical basis of employment education curriculum designing for local college and universitie students, by summaring the general definition of the curriculum, objectives, content, form of courses, curriculum principle, elaborates the definition, objectives, content, form of courses, designing theory of employment education curriculum. It establishes the goal structure of the employment education curriculum: to make college students in the four levels of the cognitive, location, quality training and the role of the transition reached a specific standard specifications. That the contents of the curriculum of employment education is must be selected in accordance with the characteristics of the various parts of the curriculum goal structure, it has various combination of orientation and follow the seven principles ,and the organization of curriculum contents is to follow four principles.The third part of the study is to constuct the solution of employment education curriculum contents on the whole course for local university and college students. On the basis of the reality and theory, the solution of content of the whole course employment education curriculum is divided into four stages of 13 modules. That is, freshman year with the education of awareness (cognitive stage, four blocks); the second year in college should carry out education of vocation career planning (positioning stage, two modules); the junior period should implement the training of overall quality and vocation quality (implementation phase, two modules);in the senior period, training of geting job skills and career development guidence(transitional stage, five blocks).
