Chinese curriculum is established compulsory modules and elective modules in senior high school. There have been designed 72 kinds of Chinese textbook of elective courses by five publishing companies. How to assess them,and how to select the suitable one? This paper attempts to provide some reference points of assessment for Chinese textbook of elective courses.This paper analyzed the goal of senior high school Chinese elective courses, the principles of the compile elective textbook, the function of Chinese elective textbook , and take the novel and drama module as an assessment sample.The first part of this paper included the introduction and the present situation summary, which core issue is try to study the reference points of the Chinese textbook of elective courses in the senior high school.The second part of this paper studied three Chinese textbooks of elective courses. There are version of people education publishing company, the version of Jiangsu education publishing company, and the version of Nankai middle school. Compared the compile of standards , the guiding ideology, the system, the style, the structure of the textbook, look for their characteristics and problems.The third part of this paper gave some reference points of assessments of Chinese textbook of elective courses: 1.pay attention to basic knowledge of the novel and drama , with the expansion of knowledge, enhance appreciation of the novel and drama in harmony, so that complement the acceptance study and the self-study; 2.before compile the textbook, investigate the construction situation of textbook., avoid duplication and waste of resources; 3 the compile of school-based textbook efforts to coordinate students'requirement to pass the test and enhance the students'Chinese accomplishment; 4 take the ability of appreciate the novel and drama as the core of the structure of textbook.
