According to the ordinary high school physics course standard and the actual situation, every province has arranged the different versions of textbook as the physics teaching materials, such as the PEP version, SiNan version, Shanghai version, Shandong version, Guangdong version, SuE version and so on. Each of these textbook has it’s own features in the content arrangement and selection, as well as in organization to present, and so on. But, many problem of the curriculum reform, such as whether the use of new version textbook play a role in the curriculum reform, whether new version textbook reflect the idea and goal of the new curriculum reform, and whether the new textbooks do a favorable work on the teaching and learning, the actual using situation of the new textbook, as well as the appraise of different group (such as teaching research member, teacher, student) to the new teaching material view, and so on, are worth while studied.First of all, this thesis compares the senior high school physics teaching materials (PEP) with other versions. In order to do a good work on the comparison, we firstly analyze the new curriculum standard and the edition requirement to the new version of textbook. Then, we compare the senior high school physics teaching materials(PEP) with physics teaching materials(SiNa) separately from the column settings and knowledge structure,from which we can see the features in two versions teaching material. At the same time, the author also suggested that physical education teachers should adjust measures to local conditions and use teaching materials from each other. Next, we also compared the senior high school physics teaching material of PEP version in China with the main senior high school physics teaching material of United States. From which we could see characteristics of American high school physics teaching material and the enlightenment of our senior high school physics teaching material preparation.Then, this thesis emphasizes on the survey and analysis of the using situation of the textbook of Senior High School Physics with New Curriculum Standards (PEP) in Hubei province. And the statistic analysis has been down from the surveying data. From these, we can see the group (research member, teacher, student) to the current high school physics teaching material view, and we also know the actual use of the textbooks and the factors which affects the use, as well as the promoting role of teaching and learning from the new textbook.Finally, focusing on the above survey and analysis, we propose some writing advice for the senior high school physics teaching material (compulsory1compulsory2) of the PEP version.
