| This study based on the objectives of applying life education for high-school biology teaching in the rural areas, and the situations and characteristics of life education were analyzed by filling out the questionnaires. The practical study for life education during the biology teaching in high-school was conducted. I hope it can provide a model for the life education in rural high school biology teaching implementation.The paper consists of four sections:Section One introduced the background of this study, and gave brief definition to the concept of life education.Section Two was about the situation of applying life education in high-school, and summarized the life education at high-school stages in three regions between the mainland the straits, and also in two countries, UK and USA.Section Three described the current status of life education for biology teaching in the countryside high-schools, and the research was carried out in the rural high-schools at the northeast part of Sichuan Province by collecting the questionnaires.Section Four focused on the applying methods for life education of biology teaching in the rural high-schools. The goal and material choosing for life education during biology teaching in high-school were discussed, and the potential of some other resources for life education was proposed according to the reality and characteristics in the countryside. Experimental trials for biology teaching courses were conducted in order to raise the consciousness of cherishing life for students, to improve the living ability and to enhance the life value.According to the education experimental study and the appraisal of the quality and the quantity, the students had some progresses in each aspect of the life education. It showed that implementing the life education in the biology teaching was effective. |
