Physics in high school is based on experiment; physics experiments have an irreplaceable significance in cultivating students'observation capacity, analytical capacity, interest in studying physics and the spirit of scientific inquiry. A long time, because of the shortage of educational resources, exam-oriented education, awareness of the importance of experimental teaching shortage and other reasons, makes experimental teaching are not well carried out, resulting in our students'sense of inquiry and innovation is weak. Today, education facilities in high school have gradually improved; audio-visual equipment is also generally applied to teaching. Nevertheless, additional experimental equipment, as well as advanced audio-visual facilities didn't improve the effect of experimental teaching greatly. These facilities can not meet the requirement to experimental teaching.Self-made equipment has unparalleled advantages in alleviating the shortage of teaching facilities, cultivating the observing and analyzing capacity , the hands-on experience capacity, scientific inquiry and innovative spirit. However, according to the survey, a lot of teachers did not make any experimental equipment and their hands-on experience capacity is very weak. So, to carry out this research is very useful. I have made a number of self-made equipments, and summarized their methods; these examples can be introduced to the front line teachers. At last, I hope these examples can arouse their enthusiasm on self-made equipment.This article is divided into five chapters: chapter I is the preface, analyzes the gap of experimental teaching at home and abroad, analyzes the unique advantage of the self-made equipment in developing students'ability. Finally, the author point out the significance of this issue specifically; the second chapter introduces the definition, function, significance of the self-made equipment, so, we can learn all aspects about it; the third chapter describes how to design and make self-made equipment; the fourth chapter introduces self-made equipment examples, among them, "Inclined plane with inclination change force demo machines" And "combined static demonstrator" are innovative equipments, should be popularized in high school. Specially, the "combined static demonstrator" can do more than 10 demo static experiments. The author hopes to stimulate the passion of taking part in physical equipment making through introducing the design and production methods. The fifth chapter analyzes the relationship between teaching effect and self-made equipment. The author designed a teaching case, the teaching experiment proved that self-made experiments played an important role in experimental teaching.The author's main job reflects in two ways: firstly, give self-made equipment a comprehensive exposition in definition, function, significance, status and the relationship to teaching effectiveness, to eliminate the cognitive deficiency of teachers. Secondly, through his own practice, the author have made some equipments, these self-made equipments are good equipments to aid experimental teaching. This is not only provide the vast number of teachers a reference example, but also can arouse teachers'enthusiasm in making self-made equipment. |
