In the new century, with the widely practicing of the three innovative educational ideas of lifelong education, lifelong learning and learning society, Chinese national government formally emphasizes the importance to build harmonious communities and community educational improvement projects. They are also the most concerned issues of academic world, especially for the adult educational research.Taking the perspective of adult education, guided by the academic principle "Returning to abundant adult life world and entering the inspiring adult spiritual homeland", the author carried out the research project in a community in Shanghai, including people interviews and questionnaire survey. Based on the detailed understanding of community learning participation and current state of community attachment, the author analyzed collected data and present the correlation affect between community learning activities and community attachment.The article consists of five chapters:Chapter one, exordium. Introducing research background, original intension, object,content and significance.Chapter two, theoretical review. Presenting and analyzing three key concept"community", "community attachment" and "community learning activities" based onthe foreign and Chinese studies, then coming up with the deconstruction of mainelements of the above three connotations, served as the foundation for the followingresearch.Chapter three, research design and investigation. Explaining the procedure and mainarrangement of research approach—sampling, quantity form and process. The wholeresearch concluded three parts, "Survey of Participation in Community LearningActivities", "Survey of Community Attachment Level" and "Survey of Influence ofthe Community Learning Activities to Community Attachment", and each part appliedthe correspondent questionnaire.Chapter four, research analysis and conclusion. According to research framework, presenting the influential relationship based on the result of collected data, proved that community learning activities have positive influence to community attachment. Chapter five, complementary interviews and proposals on the positive influence of community learning activities to community attachment. Concluding community school productive practices on the organization of community learning activities, coming up with problems to be solved, then the author proposed rational thinking and proposals.
