With the advancement of the new round of basic education curriculum reform and the set-up of three-dimensional objects, the education about emotion, attitude and value has become a big bright spot. Thus it seems especially necessary to study the value education in history teaching in the two ways of theory and practice. Besides, compared with the natural course like math and physics and the social courses like economics etc., history course has its unique function in the value orientation of humanism. Many educators have done some beneficial studies in value education and accumulated some experience, but it still needs to be systematic and scientific. The theory structure and implementation approach on senior school history value education has a long way to go.Based on previous research results, combined with practice, and referring to the content of Chinese ancient value, the fact of the value education of modern senior school students and the theory mode of western value education, the paper makes a preliminary definition on the value education, analyzes and organizes the contents of senior school history education and concludes the content of value education in senior school history teaching in the following ways: the education of socialism core education, the inherit and further promotion of traditional value, the scientific take-in of the general value accepted by the world and human beings, which embodies the rule of the combination of tradition and modernization, the combination of dominant nature and diversity, and the combination of nation and openess. At the same time, the paper analyzes the value education object of senior school history teaching, complying with the developmment law of value education from low to high, and in practice offers the basic method in which the value education of senior school history teaching is suitable: situational education method, experience education method, practice education method, cooperation and exploration, lecture and argumment, activity class, and so on. Furthermore, it also refers to the existing problems and measures in current the value education of senior school history teaching and carry out a case-study trial.The paper is based on the hypothesis:history pedagogy doesn't exert its character, doesn't finish the education for students' affection, attitude and value, doesn't arouse students' learning enthusiasm and doesn't guide students' growing and their life. The study starts from the content definition of history curriculum value education, and has an attempt on senior school history curriculum value education. The results show that the study of senior school history curriculum value education has certain promoting effect and practical meaning to develop students' learning interests, values, and all-round quality. The full text includes the following 7 parts: the meaning of value education, basic content, objects, principles, strategies, exploration and thinking, and case study, and the system of senior school history curriculum value education is preliminarily formed.
