Bilingual education is the important way to meet the development needs in internationalization trend of higher education in our country,to cultivate the compound talents who have the awareness of international cooperation,the ability of international exchanges and competitiveness.At present, bilingual education is becoming a hot point in education reform of our country.A growing number of schools have already implemented or got ready for the implementation of bilingual teaching.In the development process in full swing of Bilingual teaching at universities,what about the effect of the implementation? Which factors impact the implementation of bilingual education? How to improve the effect of bilingual education? When we comment on bilingual education,maybe we should go into the actual situation of bilingual education in colleges and universities.Learn about whether those subjects (teachers and students) can gain something and reach the purpose of the experiment after they make efforts.Therefore, in this thesis we look over bilingual education in colleges and universities on the basis of research at home and abroad.I try to set Hunan Normal University as a case,through empirical research,investigate and analysis bilingual education in undergraduate students.Putting the bilingual students as the research object,from the perspective of the students to find out current problems in bilingual education.Through investigation,data analysis,interviews and literature research,I try to explore bilingual education from both theoretical and practical aspects.Through the analysis of the current implementation of bilingual education in colleges and universities,trying to explore the factors which impact and constraint Bilingual education,then through attribution analysis,to identify such factors and the real relationship between bilingual education,explore the development of specific strategies in university bilingual education.Through the survey,we know that the current bilingual education in colleges and universities has achieved some success,but it is still not optimistic as a whole.The main problems are:teaching result is not satisfactory,the teaching objective is not clear,the curriculum is unscientific, evaluation is not complete.This paper goes into the existing problems in bilingual education,the main reasons are:the lack of excellent bilingual teachers,the students are lack of enthusiasm,teaching methods and means are not suitable,the absence of an environment and conditions of bilingual teaching, lack of management control.In order to enhance the effect of bilingual education,this study tries to make the following responses:Firstly,the leaders should fully understand the difficulties in implementation of bilingual education,and implement it gradually on the basis of school actual situation;Secondly,enhance teacher training and adopt incentive measures;Thirdly,play a study of bilingual students in the initiative;Fourthly,set up a bilingual curriculum scientific and use teaching materials and related reference materials;Fifthly,take appropriate teaching models and teaching methods according to the difficulty of bilingual education;Lastly,set up a comprehensive evaluation system of bilingual education.
