The concept precedes the action.The individualized education focusing on cultivating students has become the main stream of the modern educational concept.Under the guidance of this educational concept, this thesis has done some reflections on "the system of teaching fixed classes" in the traditional physical education.It has also summarized the problems that exist in the traditional teaching mode,which attaches more importance to the mastery of skills.On the basis of studying the theories on "teaching at different levels" in and outside China,this thesis has advanced the mode of "streamed mobile teaching" in the normal college physical education for non-majors.A study has been implemented on practicing this mode of teaching in the football class. The literature review and the result of the implementation are summarized as follows.1.As a teaching mode in the system of class teaching,the "streamed mobile teaching" mode is individualized teaching based on the learner's individual differences.It emphasizes the value of the learner as the main body of learning.It cares the learner's basic individual differences that exist in reality.It pays close attention to the educational effects on learners themselves.2.The "streamed mobile teaching" mode is advanced on the basis of(1) the concept of individualized education focusing on cultivating the learner,(2) the fact that college students' ability in physical education is significantly different,(3) the diversity of college students' needs in physical education,(4) the stage features that lie in the "life-long physical education",(5) the requirements advanced in the new Outline for the teaching of physical education.3.Establish the mode of "streamed mobile teaching" It means establishing the orientation of cultivating the learner,respecting learners' basic individual differences,appropriately designing the goals and contents of streamed teaching,allowing different-pace learning and different degrees of reaching the teaching goal so that every student can develop to his or her best.In terms of teaching evaluation,the one-hundred-mark grading system should be abandoned for "qualified" and "unqualified" evaluation that weakens the degree of screening and comparing.4.The implementation of the teaching practice has confirmed the feasibility and effectiveness of the mode of "streamed mobile teaching".This mode of teaching has removed the six phenomena that exist in traditional teaching:(1) the phenomenon of cultivating without concerning the harvest by the teacher,(2) the phenomenon of "cutting the watermelon" when the contents of sports skills are divided and mechanically put into different chapters,(3) the phenomenon of "forcing the horse to drink" in the course of teaching skills,(4) the phenomenon of "driving the duck up the tree" regardless of students' practical conditions,(5) the phenomenon of "cutting once for all" in terms of the evaluation system,(6) the phenomenon of "cooking in one pot" in the process of teaching.This teaching mode has brought obvious effect on arousing college students' interest in sports,encouraging them to participate actively in sports,and improving their sports skills. Since in nature the "streamed mobile teaching" mode is to place the concept of "teaching" onto "cultivating the person",it requires the teacher to be capable of applying knowledge in psychology and education comprehensively.Therefore,the quality of the teacher becomes the key to implementing the teaching practice.
