With the development of market economy of our country and the accelerating of the process of urbanization,a great number of surplus labors in rural areas have begun to move to cities in a great volume.However,with the limitation of dual structure system. of the separation between urban and rural areas and the rural economy condition itself, while these peasants themselves choose to go to cities and settle down,they are not able to solve the problems concerning their children's education.As a result,they have no choice but to leave their children in the rural areas and entrust others to take care of them,leading to the situation of isolation from each other between immigrant workers and their children.A new disadvantaged group,that is,left-behind children,came into emergence.Here,in this study,left-behind children refers to the children under sixteen years old,whose parents or parent have moved to other places to make a living,they themselves are left at the site of their census registers,under the nurse of their parent, other guardians or children themselves.This article has made a comprehensive and systematic analysis of the problems of education of left-behind children in rural primary and middle schools,emphasized on its influence factors and put forward a series of practical and feasible policies and measures.Part 1:The author first redefines the concerning concepts about left-behind children,and then systematically sorts out the status quo of the study,home or abroad, on the education of left-behind children and also analyzes and predicts its research tendency and direction.The technical line and research method are also restated and the innovation and defects of this study are also pointed out.Part 2:A basic review of the forming background and process of the problems on left-behind children,making an analysis and judgment on the development tendency of left-behind children,and also lays a foundation for putting forward some purposeful policies and measures for future.Part3:Considering the investigation on the towns around Jurong in Jiangsu province as a case study,and making a positivistic study on the problems of left-behind children in rural areas.Through paying a visit and investigation on the spot,a great deal of first hand material has been gained.A detailed analysis has included the basic situation of left-behind children and their parents who working outside,the contact and connection between the parents and their children,the style of guardianship and their guardians,the daily life condition of left-behind children,their school and psychological condition.Part 4:On the basis of positivistic study,the author tries to primarily find theinfluencing factors on left-behind children from the perspective of system,society, school,family and themselves.Part 5:A series of purposeful policies and measures have been raised according to the problems existing in the education of left-behind children found in the investigation,combining the development tendency of left-behind children.Through combination of all kinds of social resources to ensure the successful solution of the problems on left-behind children in rural areas,realizing the happy and healthy growth of left-behind children.
