People-oriented is the core of the Scientific Concept of Development as well as the strongest voice of the time. "People-oriented" means that people should be put in the first place of all human's activities, besides, people is the motion and the purpose. It is a universal concept and guideline of all social and historic activities. Therefore, it is also the concept and guideline of educational and teaching activities. The concept's manifestation in the secondary education and teaching is the respect for the education. The respect for education based on tne "people-oriented" is"regarding people as true ones, and making people the purpose of education, only by this kind of education can we set the exploration of potential, the development of capacity, the publicity of personality as the fundamental goal of education". Because of this, the research on the respect for education is not only significant for the age, but also objectively necessary for secondary school's education and teaching adapting to the domestic and abroad changes.The premise of the respect for education in middle school is to respect. It is the main teaching method that can make sure the educated can grow up in a healthy personality ,which the educators basing on the principle of educaton provide the educated with full trust and respect, create an atmosphere of respect in order to help the educated to establish an attitude of self-respect, self-love and self-confident, and then promote their self-education, gradually the educated can be trained to establish the sincerely respect for themselves,others ,the society, even life and nature.It basicly includes the respect for the law of educatin adapting to the siciety, the respect for the law of education adapting to the students'physical and mental development; the respect for the students'nature, respect for the autonomy of students, respect for the psychological characteristics of students; respect for educators; respect for the educators'self-esteem, respect for self-esteem of the educated.The respect for education is proposed to adapt to the time, as well as to be in accordance with the development trends of education and the educational status quo in the secondary school .It has the features of times, humanism, initiative, comprehensiveness, democracy, workableness and so on. It is not newly proposed in contemporary philosophy of education, but researching the value of respect today is still necessary. It is the natural selection to adapt to the characteristics of contemporary students, is in line with trends in the development of the required modern education,is a new practice model for the requirements of the curriculum reform, is the meaning-should-be for the quality education. The implementation of respect for education is conducive to form the free and pluralistic values, to promote the students'personality development and optimization of development, is conducive to the formation of the concept of people-oriented and the dvelopment of teachers'profession and so on.Basing on the theory that supports the researching on the respect for the education,this thesis provides the ways to practice 1,Educators should switch their values and roles:(1) break the dignity of the teaching profession, (2) set up the concept that students are the "mainstay",(3) pay attention to give different students different educations, (4) improve the relationships between teachers and students (5) teachers strengthen their study of psychology, education and so on and promote their professional development, (6) improve psychological quality, (7) lay with love in basic respect in education, (8) school respect teachers'characterastic, work and personality.2,forming the efforts of respecting education: (1)respect the education in the implementation of teaching respect (2)respect education in the implementation of management, (3) respect education in the activities and practice, (4) respect education in building the campus culture;3,developing the class teaching model of"students-orinted—interaction—development"Interaction means in the specific teaching circumustance,teachers and students, students and students ,students'inside world,and students and media shoule interact and creat resonance. Development refers that teachers and students get improvements together, and it includes all members'development, full development, all-round development and personal development. Under this kind of teaching model, teachers put respecting the physical and psychological characteristics and the development of the students in the first place,to promote the students'comprehensicve development and personal profession with the vivid process of interacting. 4,set up the pluralistic and developed evaluation mechanism. To adhere to the comprehensive evaluation of content, the diversification of the main part of the ecaluation, the dynamic process of the evaluation of process, and diversification of the evaluation model, really do make the evaluation a means of promoting the development of students, students are not only concerned about on the level of awareness or knowledge, but on the level of emotional development and spiritual growth, make the developed the purposes, make the developed the mainstays, make the developed the process, by developing the the developed's personality, intergrating every aspect,let the developed get full development. e development of human purpose, to develop people, to the development of man-made process, through the development of human virtue, integration of all aspects of people in order to make the overall development,.5,improving the quality of respecting others of the educated. As the educators, they shoul educate, help and support the educated awareness and ability of respecting others, let the educated learn to respect themselves,respect others and pespect the socoety and the nature.In a word, the proposal of respecting education has a profound historical background, and a macro theory to support,it is also a new exploration for the implementation of new curriculum reform in secondary school education, it both respects the objective law, as well as the educators and the educated, it can form a healthy relationship between teachers and students'interaction, promote the improvement of the effectiveness of education, adapt to time's development needs, andcultivate a sound personality of qualified personnel.There are three parts in this paper:First, tell the meaning of respecting education insecondary school, its basic content and importance. It shows the concept of respect,and respect for secondary school education and the content and importance of respecting education in secondary school.Second, talk about the base of the respect for education in secondary school. It dicusses the philosophy support, psychological support and pluralistic theory, the Behaviorism development and the respect for education in the education history and the legal base of the respect for educationThird, there are five means of practicing the respect for education in secondary school.
