The views of multi-dimensional culture places the Chinese teaching and learning in the world culture context.Thus,the Chinese curriculum not only obtains the generous resources from our national culture,but also takes in more rich and generous outstanding cultural resources worldwide.These have provided a broader cultural environment for the enhancement of the students' culture accomplishment and their all-around development.Under the multicultural background,our Chinese teaching and learning should pay attention to the building and constructing of multicultural consciousness,according to the request of the new Chinese curriculum standard.There are five parts in this paper.The first part mainly discusses the relationship between multi-dimensional culture and Chinese teaching and learning,as well as the significance of the constructing of multicultural consciousness in Chinese teaching and learning.The second part in which the author poses the questions deals mainly with historical review about multicultural education in Chinese teaching and learning, and reconsideration of the present situation.In the third part,the author analyzes the reasons for the lack of multicultural consciousness in our Chinese teaching and learning from the cultural perspective.The fourth part discusses the theoretical foundation for the constructing of multicultural consciousness in Chinese teaching and learning.The fifth part,the key part of this paper,trying to solve the problems posed above is also the innovation part.In this part,the author elaborates the implementation of constructing multicultural consciousness in Chinese teaching and learning mainly from the following aspects:the constructing of culture of the teaching material,teaching content,teaching method,teaching appraisal,teachers' culture accomplishment,etc.
