Liang Qi-chao is the elite in Chinese contemporary history with great wonders in his whole life.He was living in the ages when China was in deep and great calamity. He spent all his life in "reforming Chinese people" with the strong sense of duty of "Reforming is the ftrst emergency of present China" to save the nation.Liang Qi-chao was affected greatly by western culture in thinking education reform of Chinese schools at that time.However,Chinese culture was still in his education thinking and practice.Extensive and profound Chinese traditional culture is the main sources of Liang Qi-chao's thinking and important part of his curriculum thinking and practice as well.Especially,his family education thinking and practice is more protruding.This successful father has tought his children knowledge and thought by his own personal example as well as verbal instruction and made a legend of family filled with elites. We deeply feel the touching charm and the essential and forceful education power emanated from Chinese traditional culture.In other words,school education and family eudcation,western culture and Chinese culture have both perfectly mixed into organic integration from division in Liang Qi-chao and his children's education world.The paper chose Liang Qi-chao as the research object in order to tidy up how he thought school education and family education and solved the contradictions between them,and provide enlightment and reference to present school education.The paper emphasized literature research,used a lot of literatures such as "YinBingShi Bound Volume","Liang Qi-chao Chronicle","Unpublished Letter Scripts of Liang Qi-chao", "Family Letters of Liang Qi-chao" to represent his legend life as cultural elite and a successful father.With knowledge of history,pedagogy,sociology and highlighting rational analysis,the writer started from school and family which seem controdictionary,revealed Chinese traditional culture was the important part of Liang Qi-chao's curriculum thinking and showed its distinct educational value in education practice.The writer tried to connect the paper with the reality and got the thinking resources and the direction of practice by borrowing talking with historians with the current living surroundings and need as pivot.So the paper is expected to give examples on how Chinese schools develop Chinese traditional culture in curriculum reform,sovling the relation between family education and school education well, adjusting the contradictions between general object of school education and individual demands in order to promote the growth of children.In the meantime,the succussful practice of Liang Qi-chao on teaching his children with toil and making the family filled with elites undoubtedly provided Chinese people with solid experience.The paper includes 5 chapters.The first chapter is introduction.The second chapter is about "Salvation" and "Reforming" school education.The third one is on "Adult" and "Traditional " family education.The forth one is the division and the integration of school education and family education.The last one is the conclusion.
