Analysis On Gender Role Of Current Female Graduates

Gender role is the proper position occupied by individual who belongs to a certain gender in the certain society and the community, as well as a kind of behavioral pattern ordered by the certain society and the community. That is to say, after the individual was born, once they internalize the rulers of the gender role in the afterwards socialized process, they will automatically accord the behavior patterns that suit their gender to know,consider and act. The research regards gender role as the visual angle to learn the existence and development conditions of the current female graduate. What is the expectation of their gender role? What is the expectation of their occupation? What is the degree of satisfaction in their reality life? Whether do they have the realization to reflect and animadvert on the gender consciousness?According to the analysis on the correlation literature and the deeply interview of 10 female graduates (including master and doctor), the research suggests that on the one hand the female graduates come in for the influence from the traditional gender concept. On the other hand they also receive the high-level education from the modern society, they seem like living in the"crack". As a colony who have high educational levels, along with the improvement of their diathesis and upgrade of their degree, the female graduates are very eager to do well in family and career, but it means that they must afford more psychological obfuscation and social pressure. Thus, from our research and analysis, we can see that from latent influence of the traditional concept to individual choice; from the absolute gender consciousness to the gender consciousness that acknowledges the difference. It specifically embodies Self-identity to the family role,confliction to the double role of themselves and the rational expectation to the gender of offspring,In the author's opinion, following the development of the information society, the alternation of the way to get knowledge brings the hope to boost up the principal conscience of females, alleviates the confliction of gender role of female graduates. Furthermore, for the whole society, we should pay attention to build a culture environment to equal gender, and positively propagandize the social contribute what knowledge female do, so we can do something to promote the harmonious development both male and female and the development of female graduates.
