Chinese classical poetry like a river since ancient times, flowing with the essence of Chinese literature and art , and writing the fine soul of the history stirring melody. It is also the rich and deep background of the Chinese literary treasures. It is the perfect collection of the literary form and content.For, studying ancient poetry plays a great role in developing the ability of understanding, feelings, capacity and aesthetic appreciation of the culture. Studying classical poetry plays a great role in the growth of secondary school students: it is conducive to enhancing the national self-confidence and pride of students and helps arouse their patriotic passion; helps students cultivate a noble moral character and shape good soul; conducive to the development of intelligence, and improve their writing skills. In addition, the strengthening of classical poetry education is also conducive to the students a sense of pioneering and innovative.Textbooks for the teaching of our ancient poetry provides the ideal vector, but the overall concept of our teaching practice, the situation is not optimistic. Therefore, on the one hand we should enable students to understand the enormous role of classical poetry, and learn the real driving force. On the other hand ,Improving teaching methods and training students interested in poetry is the top priority ..I hope that through the analysis of the present situation in teaching classical poetry, and the absorption of practical experience on the basis of ancient poetry teaching middle school students , I can do a study to change our the teaching point of view and improve our classroom teaching to meet the literary appreciation of molding character, and the soul of the aesthetic goal of conservation.
