With the development of education reform, the new curriculum teaching concepts are often reflected and applied in the teaching activities. Based on the new curriculum theory and the research of the evolution of electromagnetic induction content in the high school curriculum after the founding of New China, investigation shows that the optional part 3-2 of high school physics textbook published by the People's education press in 2006 not only fully embodies the new curriculum teaching concepts, but also focuses on the three-dimensional aims, which can effectively improve students'sense of creation. The textbook also stresses the exploratory teaching and the improvement of the practical awareness, attaches importance to teaching scientific approaches and scientific thinking, as well as the education of emotional attitudes and values, thus it has improved students'learning method. An investigation into the current situation of high school physical teaching exhibits that most of the senior physical teachers are in favor of the exploratory teaching and even have put it into practice in teaching progress. However, there are still many teachers not familiar with this teaching approach, and they need a systematic study and training. This teaching approach was confronted by great difficulties in the process, especially the limitation of the time of a class. Furthermore, it should be noted that the senior students have a strong interest in exploration, so it is necessary and possible for school to conduct the exploratory teaching. Finally, The teaching strategies of electromagnetic induction have been put forward and some related teaching strategies have been embodied through some teaching cases.
