The core accomplishment of physics subject puts forward new requirements for students' problem-solving ability.How to improve students' comprehensive quality and problem-solving ability is a problem that physics teachers need to think and practice for a long time.Conceptual resource theory provides a new perspective to examine students' physics problem solving process.Based on the theoretical framework of conceptual resources,this paper takes the electromagnetic induction problem in high school physics as an example.Firstly,the conceptual resources commonly used by students in solving electromagnetic induction problems are determined according to the existing research.Then,the requirements of electromagnetic induction chapter in “The Basic Requirements of High School Physics Teaching” in Shanghai and the electromagnetic induction problems in recent years are analyzed.Based on the above results,a questionnaire containing eight electromagnetic induction problems is designed.The survey was conducted among senior three students choosing physics in a key high school in Shanghai.Through the analysis of the survey results,the following conclusions are drawn:First,students can activate corresponding conceptual resources when solving problems,but they cannot use relevant conceptual resources to correctly analyze problems with a certain complexity.This is caused by the thinking set formed by senior three students after a certain amount of training.Second,the conceptual resources are context sensitive.This is due to students' previous learning and teachers' ideas of solving problems in the teaching process.Thirdly,teachers fail to select appropriate teaching materials to activate students' specific conceptual resources,which is caused by teachers' ignorance of the existence of students' conceptual resources.Based on the above conclusions,this paper puts forward the following teaching suggestions: teachers should be aware of the existence of students' conceptual resources,carry out teaching design based on students' ideas.This paper also designed part of the teaching content of electromagnetic induction chapter.
