The Study On Ecology Morals Education Of Contemporary University Students

After the industrial revolution, especially with the rapid development of the economy, mechanization of industrial production since the 20th century has brought rich material life; however, it has also brought a global ecological crisis. Every era has its own problem."The problem is the voice of the age". Ecological problems have great influence on human life. People began to concern about the ecological crisis generally with a consciousness of hardship. They started to re-examine the relationship between man and nature. In the process of rational self-examination, it is recognized that"the ecological crisis is not only a natural disaster, but in some ways, is man-made calamity. People are in difficult living positions as a result of spinning a cocoon around themselves. Ecology morals education swept the world quickly and is becoming a burgeoning field of education as an active respond to ecological stress on the reality and challenges of ecological crisis.Universities as the main positions of ecology morals education play an important role in enhancing the ecology morals qualities of contemporary college students. The timely and efficient ecology morals education to university students to a certain extent will promote the moral education of university students to keep up with the times .And it's also helpful to train students as a moral person rather than fragmentary. What's more it will help college students develop their all-round qualities so that they can shoulder the important responsibility of building a socialist harmonious society. Therefore, this article is divided into four parts to study the ecology morals education of the contemporary university students.The first part is to elaborate the background of the subjects, the significance of selected topics, literature review, research ideas and methods, and the initial understanding and assurance to ecology morals education of the contemporary university students. The second part is to elaborate the basic concepts and theoretical basis of the ecology morals education. It is the basis of the research to clearly define the concept of the ecology, ecology morals, ecology morals education and ecology morals education of the contemporary university students. This part also states the scope of the study. The inquisition to sustainable development of ecology ethics and Youth social psychology provides a strong theoretical basis and support for going deep into the study further.The third part is to investigate the state of ecology morals education of the contemporary university students and analyze the problems and the reasons for the problems. According to the statistical analysis of 1000 sample survey questions of five National University in China, it's found that ecology morals education of the contemporary university students has the following four aspects of problems. First of all, college students are worried about the future development of the ecological environment. A quarter of the students feels a bit pessimistic or despairs. Secondly, university students are lacking in ecological knowledge. They have only a superficial understanding of ecology. Thirdly, students don't have a good atmosphere of ecological education, which to a certain extent affects university students to develop ecology morals. Finally, college students are unconcerned about the practice of ecological protection. Two main reasons can be found by analyzing the above problems compressively: on the one hand, it's the historical reason. Anthropocentrism has existed for a long time. The guidance of the concept--man can conquer nature caused people to misjudge the relationship between man and nature. On the other hand it is the reality that contemporary moral education can not always keep pace with the times, which leads to the loss of the ecology morals education. That is to say ecology morals education didn't go into the area of moral education in colleges and universities timely.The fourth part is to explore how to perfect the ways of ecology morals education of contemporary university students based on the above investigation, statistics and analysis of contemporary ecology morals education of university students. First, strengthen the ecology morals construction of campus culture. Make students get influence of ecology morals physically and psychologically by training the concept of "Green University", formulating code of conduct for ecology morals and constructing infrastructure ecologically. Second, build up the ranks of teachers. Teachers include both the professional and non-professional teachers of ecology morals. It's necessary to raise teachers'qualities and competence of ecology morals. Because it can help carry out the ecology morals education effectively and form resultant force. Third, set up the curriculum of ecology morals. Colleges need to establish obligatory courses especially for ecology morals. Optional courses and mutual penetration of various disciplines are also needed in order to achieve a comprehensive understanding and digest of the ecology morals. Fourth, focus on the activities of student societies of the ecology morals education. Communities of ecological protection must always uphold the principles of publicity of ecology morals and ecological protection actively carry out a variety of practical activities and continue to transfer the information of ecology morals. Fifth, broaden the space of ecology morals education by using campus network. Campus network provides a good communication platform for ecology morals education and is an important way for college students to get positive, timely and accurate information.In short, ecology morals education of university students as the college's new field of moral education is the product of the times and keeps up with the trend of the times. They are essential to sort out the theory, investigate the status and design the framework of the Ecology morals education of the college students. I hope this study will profit the development and improvement of the ecology morals education of college students.
