Cooperative study,a breakthrough to the traditional teaching organization form,is one of an important learning method in the new round of curriculum reform.It has been adopted more and more widely in student development-centered classes.Traditional high school biology classes witnessed a lot of cramming education,where teachers acted as the authority while the students as passive recipients.Many teachers failed to recognize the importance of the cooperative study and to do research into the cooperative study.Though some were exploring actively,for one thing,due to various objective factors and the frontline teachers' lacking in theory improvement,the promotion value is small;for another,experts' theory which is short of practice proves to be meaningless in reference.Based on humanistic learning theory,constructive learning theory,and cooperative learning theory,the thesis did a research into the theory and practice of cooperative study in high school biology classes,with the purpose of finding a way of cooperative teaching practice on the solid fundament of mature theory,by means of testing,education experimenting,qualitative observation,etc using test paper,survey,peer-assessment and other meters.In the study,the author acted as both theory researcher and experiment executor, experiencing the most detailed change,monitoring the whole process,making the result of the study reliable and valuable in reference.Thereafter,an operational mode is recommended as how to carry out cooperative study in high school.
