With the development of technology, division of specialization has being fine. The cultivation of students’spirit of cooperation is the requirements and direction of development for the education in future. Since the new curriculum reform, advocate cooperative learning, advance the students’subjective development and train the abiliity of social adaptability of the students, which raise the climax of the cooperative learning.Cooperative learning began in the United Kingdom, but began to flourish gradually in the United States. In our country, while drawing lessons from forgin cooperative learning theory, we had some localization studies. Through classroom observation and interview surveys, we found that the some of middle school biology teachers have some errors in the use of cooperative learning, which it to be a superficial, low-effective even ineffective teaching strategy. In order to promote the application of cooperative learning in biology classes effectively, we must analyze the status of cooperative learning at home and abroad seriously, and have a deep reflection of the problems in cooperation classroom, then raise specifical suggests.First, the author has looked for the cooperative learning theory and basic elements by reading literature. Secondly, put the teachers and students in E city of Inner Mongolia as the objects of study to recognize the cooperative learning knowledge and attitude and application of the students and biology teacher by the questionnaire survey and interview. Finally, the author used teaching videoes to know the application of cooperative learning.Through the questionnair, interviews and teaching observation, the author found that there were some problems in cooperative learning at present., summarized into three aspects mainly:1."uncooperative" phenomenon,part of them have conflicted emotions.2. the form of group and the behavior of members in the cooperative learning are unscientific.3. teacher’s role in cooperative learing, teacher’s choice of cooperative learning task and the way of evaluation is lack of availability.According to the problems, the author put forward some sujects:1.Change the concept of the teachers and students, learn the intrinsic value of cooperation learning.2.Improve the theory knowledge.3.Attach improtance to teachers’specific teaching behavior.4.Strengthen students’cooperation skills training.5.Perfect the evaluation system of it.6.Provide the curriculum resources to support it. Through the study of the ststus and the problems, the author hope it to be helpful to cooperative learning in biology class of middle school in future.
