This paper studies the generative teacher-student interaction of ideological and political course.Teacher-student interaction is a system of diverse content, forms, and scenarios, and also an on-going process of teacher-student communication. Therefore, this paper attempts to discuss the teacher-student interaction of the middle school political course from the perspective of generation.Generation is a generalization of the flexibility of teacher-student interaction during political teaching and an important supplement to the previous stress on presupposition, planning and restriction of the interaction process between the teacher and students. The real interaction process of political teaching is a non-linear sequence of graduality, multi-level and multi-angle and a process promoted by the teacher, students and a variety of other factors. Generation is not free and without orientation, but an auto-construction guided with intention and direction. It is only under correct guidance that the teacher-student interaction is effective in reflecting the arousing and respect of the teacher toward students, leading the confrontation and harmony of mind between the teacher and students, and helping students form their own views, beliefs and even world outlook and methodology from what they learn. In a word, the generative teacher-student interaction classroom neither denies the planning, purpose and presupposition of teaching, nor ignores the value of teacher in the whole process of teaching, but is on this premise to bring dynamic, vitality and then educational effectiveness to the teacher-student interaction process of ideological and political course.By literature analysis, investigation and study, this paper discusses the following four aspects:1. An overview of the generative teacher-student interaction. There are four aspects in this part. Firstly, key concepts are analyzed, mainly discussing what the generative teacher-student interaction is. Secondly, the theoretical basis is introduced, mainly including constructivism, humanism, new basic education, post-modernist concept of curriculum and so on. After the summary of the literature research, the significance of the generative teacher-student interaction of middle school ideological and political course is discussed. 2. The analysis of the current alienation of teacher-student interaction of political classroom teaching. This part mainly explains the phenomena of alienation and its source.3. The characteristics of generative teacher-student interaction and principles to comply with. This part mainly analyses characteristics that the generative teacher-student interaction should have, i.e., of effective, genuine, equal, open and order. And the unification of generation with presupposition and guidance of the teacher with subjectivity of students should enjoy attention. Respect for text value and maintenance of dynamic and process nature should also be regarded as principles.4. Strategies for the teacher-student interaction of political classroom teaching. This is the most important part of this article, which discusses specific and feasible strategies as three steps: preparation of situational setup, conduct of initiating dialogues and immediate evaluation.Through these analyses, the paper comes to the conclusion that the generative teacher-student interaction of middle schools ideological and political course creates new growth point of teaching and thus helps reach teaching goals through continuous dialogue and thinking. Toward the teacher, it raises a higher requirement, that is, to communicate with students earnestly, launch teaching activities regarding the real needs of students, and sharing happiness in the communication. To students, it means realization of subjectivity, expression of individuality and liberation of creativity. Once the teacher-student interaction becomes truly generable, the form of it will change, and the creativity and passion concealed in both the teacher and students will be motivated to a great extend.There is still much for us to do and discuss to practically realize the generative interaction between every teacher and student. The reform of ideological and political education is a big issue, which needs a growing number of peers to get involved in. We should make conclusions and improvement through practices with brevity and prudence to diversify and rich the ideological and political education.
