The Research On The Present Condition Of The Children's Swimming Training And Sustainable Development In Harbin

2001 is the beginning of the Olympic strategy and development planning which was made by the State Physical Culture Administration from 2001 to 2008. Swimming is the focal point of "119" project and it undertakes a mission of 32 gold medals in 2008 Olympic Games. There is a great gap in swimming between China and the world's average level. In order to realise a new growth point, a new penetration in swimming, we must work hard in the amateur swimming training, and this is a strategy which concerns the overall situation.Children's amateur swimming training is a basic form of the cultivation of reserve qualified personnel, and it is also the fundamental project of the Chinese Olympic Gold Medal Winning Program, and it is the only way to establish the reserve power and the force of the sustainable development of competitive swimming.The essay adopts literature searching method, interviewing method, questionnaire, analytics and mathematical statistics method, chooses the training data of several children amateur clubs, takes questionnaire survey of coaches, athletes and the children's parents in Harbin children's amateur swimming training and analyses the training status quo, in order to help the leaders of Harbin children's amateur swimming training acquire the existing problems. And it proposes the suggestions of solving these problems, and hopefully to provide some reference for Harbin children's swimming training and swimming items in Heilongjiang Province.We get the following conclusions through these researches:1. The proportion of coaches and athlete is higher.2. The ages and positions of coaches are reasonable, and they are rich in experiences and responsibility. Most of these coaches are experienced, but their education and knowledge level are not high . And the scientific research ability needs to improve.3. Their opportunities for training and learning are rare, and their structure of expertise is out of fashion, and they can not meet the need for modern scientific swimming training. 4. The athletes' study condition is alarming. And It will influence their further development after retiring from sports, and it also puts obstacles for the sustainable development of children's swimming training.5. The selection of swimmers in Harbin mainly accords to their ability, experiences and results; the selection doesn't have a tight connection with scientific research. The coaches don't realize the importance of scientific selection.6. It is lack of systematicness in Harbin children's amateur swimming training, and the scientific training degree is low. The coaches don't have a proper attitude in making training plans and their implement.7. It is not so good in executing of programs in swimming age groups.8. Most of the athletes' parents have supportive attitude towards their child participating the amateur swimming training.
