Social democratic development determines its expansion to the field of education. Democracy is the only efficient way to educate most people, therefore, education democracy has become the common trend for world reform. Democratic teaching is the basic requirement for education democracy and it is positively a meaningful trial and creativity.In recent years, the immersion of democracy has improved the relationship between teachers and students. Besides, means of democracy has been implemented in teaching and consequently, the reform of Chinese teaching in the middle school has achieved some accomplishment. However, traces of authority and dictatorship still exist in the Chinese Teaching of middle schools. Democratic teaching is still neglected, which is unanimously true. To further understand the causes, we can easily tell that theory of democratic education is not systematic and defected, and it can't provide scientific foundation for the implementation of democratic education, therefore, causes the blur and chaos in the concept of democratic education. Another factor is the lack of practical past experience from which we can borrow and learn.Therefore, the first part of this article will analyze the meaning and traits of democratic teaching, combined the traditional education with education reality in our country.The second part of this paper lists the phenomena of the lack in democratic teaching in middle school Chinese classes, based on the author's research. It then analyzes its causes under the guidance of modern democratic teaching. The purpose is to validate the necessity of spreading democratic teaching to middle school Chinese classes. It also provides bases for the strategies in the following parts.The third part is the center of this paper. Based on the analysis of lack in democratic teaching in middle school Chinese classes, some practical strategies are brought up. The aim is to provide teachers some help with the implementation of democratic teaching in middle school Chinese classes, so that the teachers can avoid certain mistakes and find their own unique teaching strategies suitable and efficient for themselves.
